Bright Souls

A gift made for a friend who's a fan of a certain series of video games (guess which :P )
Since I felt more of doing something optimistic (and due to lack of time), I decided to mix it up with a little fantasy project I was working on previously. Due to the rushed progress, things progressed during the making - the monster was imagined early on, but scrapped first due to time, only to be brought back in at the end. It was originally meant to remain greyscale or Black and White, but since that would have taken more time, it was later changed to be colorized.
Very mixed media, utilising both traditional and digital elements
Despite a rushed development, very fun to make and I hope to make more of such works next year! ;)

Hope you like it :)

Almost finished, digital colorization. It was further adjusted to work better after being printed. The monster was not completed in this version.
